Reworked trait, buffs and nerfs in Patch 11.16
With the release of patch 11.16, Riot Games introduces an overhaul of several champions and items while the Legionnaire trait gets a complete rework. The update also features two new Little Legends bundles inspired by the League of Legends event, Rise of the Sentinels.
New buffs and nerfs
Having been neglected for the past few patches, Galio finally received a much-needed buff, increasing the effect from Shield of Durand from 50% to 60% healing and a longer duration from 2 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
Karma also received a slight increase in damage output from her Soulflare, going from 210/260/700 damage to 225/280/750 throughout her star levels.

Looking at the items affected the most this update, Quicksilver, Blue Blessing, Dvarapala Stoneplate Armor, Demonslayer, Guinsoo’s Reckoning, Glamorous Gauntlet, Locket of the Targon Prime, Rabadon’s Ascended Deathcap, and Statikk’s Favor all saw notable buffs to help make them more viable compared to other Radiant items.
This also meant that Covalent Spark, Radiant Redemption, and Sunlight Cape experienced noticeable nerfs to help further lessen the gap between these over- and underpowered items.
Adjustments to Lucian and Nocturne
To combat Lucian’s inability to deal with on-attack items, he’s now able to proc on-attack effects. When using The Culling, every other shot will count as an attack, increasing the number of items it will work with. At the same time, his health has been decreased from 800 to 700.
Lucian isn't the only one being adjusted in this update. In an effort to further balance Nocturne in terms of his power gap between star levels, his spin ability has been given bonus physical damage that scales with ability power. On top of that, Umbra Blades received adjustments to decrease attack damage ratio from 125% to 70%. Healing no longer scales with ability power while the attack speed has been locked at 35% on all star levels.
Legionnaire rework
A new rework meant to make the Legionnaire trait more beneficial to certain champions means that there no longer is a spellcasting requirement to heal on following auto-attacks. Legionnaire champions now all get bonus attack speed and heal for every attack or ability they cast. Omnivamp has also been added for passive healing, which will scale with each star level.
