Teamfight Tactics Patch 12.6 Highlights
After the longest wait, TFT’s Patch 12.6 welcomes players to Irelia and Malzahar changes while including multiple adjustments for several augments and a list of AD units.
Light on meta-changing balance adjustments yet impactful on Augment changes, the newest patch arrives on live servers after four weeks, as Riot took a week-long hiatus from development during the month of March. Riot, however, shipped two micro-patches during their break, to ensure a smooth experience during the Worlds championship.
Warwick, Irelia receive substantial nerfs
TFT’s newest patch targets fan-favorite carries in the current meta, including a nerf to Warwick’s attack damage, with a slight reduction in the champ’s on-hit heal. On the other hand, meta carry Irelia receives a slight nerf to her overall Attack Damage with her Bladesurge Base Damage changed from 75/100/600 to 60/90/550.
The latest update also applies several changes to 12 Hextech Augments, reducing the time to pick each Augment by 2 seconds. Riot’s TFT team has also changed the way economy augments work in every round, as players would no longer receive three economy Hextech Augments in the same round.
Along with a slew of balance adjustments and nerfs for several meta-carries, the newest patch also includes a list of bug fixes for champs Zeri, Irelia, and more. Irelia no longer targets units with her untargetable abilities, and Zeri’s movement speed is no longer capped at 1.0. Patch 12.6 is slated to hit live servers on Wednesday, March 30.
