Teamfight Tactics Patch 12.1 Highlights

Patch 12.1 welcomes us into the New Year with long-expected nerfs and buffs to champions, items, and Traits. This patch comes with significant adjustments to traits like Chemtech and Yordle, along with a few changes to champions attached to trait-linked augments.

These changes will give more value to augments that grant a Trait heart or emblem by adding a free champion of the same trait and gold.

Patch 12.1 will also make way for the return of Yordles with a few buffs to their spawn odds and an increase in their mana reduction from 20% to 25%. These updates are sure to give the little ones the push they require to get back into meta.

Alongside Yordles, the damage-driven Imperials have also been buffed to help them better transition into the late game by extensively amplifying the stats of the chosen carry with the right items.

The mana regen of 2 Socialites has been nerfed to balance the trait out, while Chemtech also received significant adjustments.

These adjustments are geared towards giving an edge to players who may not be able to attain 9 Chemtechs and nerfing its damage reduction to reduce the influence of the trait in the early game.
