Teamfight Tactics 11.17 Patch Notes

The Teamfight Tactics patch 11.17 features two reworked traits, RP price changes, nerfs to tier 3 champions including Lee Sin and Yasuo, while higher tier champions including Draven and Kayle get buffs across the board.

Viego also receives a few adjustments to balance his late-game efficiency with higher commitment requirements for players wanting to use him in their comps.

Champion buffs

Starting off the patch with a look at champions getting new buffs, Draven has been given a small one to his attack speed. With him being more or less balanced throughout, increasing his attack speed will have a huge impact on Draven comps being much more viable overall.

On the not so small side of things, Gwen receives a sizeable increase to her Skip 'n Slash damage output.

Draven

  • Attack Speed: 0.75 increased to 0.8

Gwen

  • Skip 'n Slash damage: 100/150/1777 increased to 125/200/2222

Kayle

  • Health: 650 increased to 800
  • Attack Speed: 1.1 increased to 1.15

Champion nerfs

A little less exciting for players planning to use any of the following champions in comps this patch, Yasuo and Riven receive substantial nerfs both health and damage output.

With this update, Riot looks to lessen the gap between overperforming Tier 3 champions against higher tiers.

Lee Sin:

  • Health: 850 decreased to 800
  • Cripple Damage: 250/350/650 decreased to 200/350/600

Nidalee

  • Aspect of the Cougar transformation Dodge Chance: 45% decreased to 40%
  • Aspect of the Cougar transformation bonus Attack Speed: 40/50/75 decreased to 30/50/70%

Rakan

  • Gleaming Quill Damage: 350/500/900 decreased to 350/500/800
  • Gleaming Quill missing Health healing: 35/50/80% decreased to 35/50/70%

Riven

  • Health: 850 decreased to 800
  • Attack Damage: 80 decreased to 75
  • Blade of the Dawn bonus Attack Damage: 90/100/120% decreased to 90/100/110%
  • Blade of the Dawn Damage: 100/200/500 decreased to 100/200/300

Yasuo

  • Attack Speed: 0.95 decreased to 0.9
  • Burning Blade Damage: 250/350/600 decreased to 250/350/550
  • Burning Blade stacking True Damage: 25/35/60 decreased to 25/35/55

Heimerdinger

  • Attack Speed: 0.75 decreased to 0.7
  • Mana: 0/140 decreased to 0/160

Adjustments to Viego

In order to balance his prowess late game, Viego will need to suffer through a few adjustments to damage output and health decay.

Viego

  • Sovereign's Domination Damage increase per second: 100% decreased to 50%
  • Sovereign's Domination Damage: 180/300/1500 decreased to 180/360/2000
  • Sovereign's Domination stolen champion Health decay: 15/7/0% decreased to 10/5/0%

Sentinel and Spellweaver reworks

To avoid Sentinel comps over-performing by keeping Galio at 1-star throughout the match, the Sentinel buff now opens on the Sentinel that has the most items. Should you have two or more Sentinels with an equal number of items, it’ll get applied to the Sentinel with the highest Attack Speed instead.

Sentinel rework

  • Attack Speed: 25/120/1000% changed to 25/90/500%
  • Shield Value: 200/1000/2000 changed to 175/900/2000

As for Spellweaver, the performance last patch was doing alright according to Riot, they’re removing the cap on stacks to encourage it to more players.

Spellweaver rework

  • Base Ability Power: 25/55/100 decreased to 15/35/70
  • Ability Power per stack: 2/5/10 decreased to 2/4/10

RP price increase in select regions

Riot will update their pricing strategy for Teamfight Tactics and League of Legends in select countries beginning from September 8th.

Prices for RP will go up in Brazil, Latin America, Russia, and Turkey because of currency rates and tax increases. Players will earn double Bonus Currency from all virtual currency transactions from August 23rd to September 8th.
