Valorant Patch 3.05 highlights
The latest update for Valorant goes live with the introduction of Episode 3 Act 2. Along with a much-awaited ‘Fracture’ map, the patch brings adjustments to rank tiers, Agents, and abilities.

Fracture map goes live with exclusive queue
For the first two weeks, Fracture will have its own queue for players looking to get to know the ins and outs of its unique layout. Afterward, the map will head onto Competitive, Spike Rush, Deathmatch, Escalation, and remaining modes.

Agents get updated to increase reliability
Among the most noticeable Agent adjustments, Brimstone, Sova, and Breach are all getting their ability damage consistency changed to better handle encounters with devices from other Agents.
- Breach’s Aftershock (C) now deals damage to Killjoy, Cypher, Reyna, Sage, Sova, and KAY/O abilities.
- Brimstone’s Orbital Strike (X) now deals damage to Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, Sova, and KAY/O abilities.
- Sova’s Hunter’s Fury now deals damage to Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, Sova, and KAY/O abilities.
Updated rank tiers and distribution
The Immortal 1/2/3 rank tiers have returned, and the Leaderboard will update to differentiate between players in every tier.
