5 stack Ranked restrictions removed
Riot's Valorant team has let go of restrictions on 5 stack parties in the competitive queue, allowing players to enjoy 5 stacks with friends regardless of their rank.
According to data gathered over time, Riot believes removing these restrictions will reduce the number of smurf accounts in-game, being created due to players wanting to enjoy ranked matches with their friends. This also means the removal of 4-stack queues, as they 'leave the remaining solo queue player with a relatively poor play experience', and the removal of this option is believed to curb in-game toxicity.
