When Will the 19th Agent Release in Valorant?

Valorant’s next Agent to hit Future Earth is still yet to be revealed, but a few recent rumors and leaks have appeared to help shed light on what we can expect to see.

Potential Bounty Hunter teaser

During the March 2022 State of the Agents update, Character Producer John Goscicki clued fans to a possible hint at the nationality of the next agent. On top of adding more fire to the rumor that the next agent will be a bounty hunter by describing the agent as ‘hunting down enemies’, Goscicki finished the teaser with the line “Herkesin bir korkusu var.” which translates from Turkish to “Everyone has a fear.”.

Goscicki revealed the thought process behind the development of Agent 19, saying “Our focus early on was identifying unique gameplay differences within the realm of recon/info, and landed in a space that has more “localized” Initiation and recon tools.”.

Possible ability kit leaked on Reddit

Reddit user u/JombyGeorgie posted a supposed leaked screenshot on Reddit of a potential Bounty Hunter ability kit. Ignoring the less than perfect grammar, the ability description provides a very detailed look at what the next Agent could be like.

Who is Victoria Vector?

Riot often tends to leave a trail of breadcrumbs for fans to discover when revealing their next map or, in this case, agent. This time, eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot something interesting during a recently released music video featuring Jett roaming the skyline.

Twitter user Cynprel noticed that the video had several ‘ads’ depicting a fictional musical artist named ‘Victoria Vector’. Whether or not this is a hint at the identity of the new agent is still heavily debated, as some fans correctly pointed out that the same ‘Victoria Vector’ artwork is featured on the Undercity skin bundle.

Having an agent with their own skin bundle would be very out of left field, and most likely, Victoria Vector will remain a lore character. Still, there is a first for everything, and who says an agent can be playable and have a skin bundle at the same time?

When will Agent 19 be released?

With Riot Games confirming no more major content is scheduled for the next Act, players shouldn’t expect to see the nineteenth before Act 3 or later.
