Riot quickly rolls out Astra bug-fix following removal from competitive queue
After Valorant’s Patch 4.04 introduced several balance adjustments for agents of the Controller class, it also came along with a series of bugs that led to Astra’s temporary removal from the competitive queue.
The new exploit enabled players to buy a Marshal by selling Astra’s stars during the pistol round, disrupting competitive matches.
Each player in Valorant starts with 800 credits. However, Astra players discovered the bug with the new update that enabled them to sell her star, ending with 950 credits instead of 800. With those credits, Valorant fans were quick enough to disrupt the entire game by getting an early lead using the Marshal, which costs 950 credits.
Fans on social media claimed that this was intentional, while some questioned Riot’s decision to give Astra players an early lead during the match. However, Riot’s League team was quick enough to dismiss speculations and claimed it was a bug, disabling her from the competitive queue for short while.
Astra shouldn't be able to sell her starting star—it's priceless. This is a bug and we are removing her from Competitive queue for now, with the hopes of getting a fix in later today.

Riot’s League team later pushed her back into the competitive queue, after releasing a quick bug fix in no time. League fans can now play Astra on live servers again, with the exploit no longer existing in-game.
Patch 4.04 is available on live servers across all regions.
